When to go
Every guide gives the same answer: spring and autumn. That is a phrase, not a fact. What decides a trip in February is not the cold — you can dress for cold — but whether there is an open bed at the end of the stage.
No place on this route has its season on record, so this table cannot say anything.
What these numbers look at
- Beds open
- How many of the places with a recorded season open that month. Not how many beds there are: how many houses open their doors.
- Stages with no bed
- Stages where not one of the places whose season we know is open. This is the number that sends someone walking fifteen kilometres more at the end of the day.
- Daylight
- The hours between sunrise and sunset on the 15th, from this route's latitude. Walking twenty-five kilometres with nine hours of daylight is not the same trip as with fifteen.
Nothing is claimed about a place whose season we do not know. "Not on record" is not "closed".
